2010.05.28:  Egremont Residence on Inhabitat.com
Thanks to Inhabitat.com for featuring The Egremont Residence and Loq-kit on their website!  A very nice article, which can be found here.

2010.04.24:  PAF Bearden Place Competition Submissions

PAF has submitted two entries in the Bearden Place Competition, a design competition sponsored by the AIA Minnesota and the Builder's Association of the Twin Cities.  The competition addresses infill lots in North Minneapolis, and looks to develop an affordable, sustainable and successful live-work housing units that can help revitalize this historically significant part of the city.  After spending some time working on the design, we decided we had too many ideas for a single submission.  To see our submissions in greater detail, you can view them on the 'Ideas' page.  We'd love to hear what you think.

2010.04.23:  PAF at the Living Green Expo May 1st and 2nd
PAF Architecture will be at the Living Green Expo at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand May 1st and 2nd.  We are looking forward to discussing environmental responsibility and the role that architects play in ethical and sustainable design.  For more information about the expo, feel free to visit http://livinggreenexpo.mn.  We hope to see you there!

2010.03.02:  Thanks
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at the home show!  It was great to have a chance to talk to so many people about their projects, and to have the opportunity to explain the value we bring to the process.  We are looking forward to scheduling some consultation meetings in the near future, and wish everyone the best of luck on their projects!

2010.02.20:  New Website!
Please take a look around the new website and let us know what you think.  We have redesigned the site to more fully encompass the work done by both Patrick and Carl.  One addition to the navigation is the 'Ideas' page- we view it as a collection of things we've done in our spare time, both related to design and general interest.  We hope you enjoy what we have presented, and if anything piques your interest, please feel free to let us know.

2010.02.05:  PAF Architecture at the Home and Garden Show

PAF Architecture will be at the Home and Garden Show, February 24-28th.  The Home and Garden Show is a great opportunity for us to talk to people about the potential of their projects, and what value an architect can bring into their project- whether they choose to work with us or someone else.  So if you're in the area, stop by and say hi!  If we don't have anyone to talk to, the days can get a little long.

2010.01.12:  New Office Location!
PAF Architecture is now located at 310 Groveland Avenue, near the Walker Art Center, and we are thoroughly enjoying it.

2010.01.01:  New Year, New and More Powerful Firm.

After working independently and collaborating from separate locations, Patrick Freet and Carl Olson have joined forces.  We are both excited about the possibilities and potential of this merger, and know our individual talents and passions will provide a new level of service for our clients.  We will continue to operate as PAF Architecture in the short term, but will be rebranding the firm soon to more fully encompass our services.
